Gwyneth Carswell, an English lady banished by her father to the harsh Scottish Highlands, wants nothing more than to take her young son away from the violence of two fighting clans--her own distant kin, the MacIrwins, and their enemies, the MacGraths. She risks everything to rescue the fierce MacGrath warrior from the battlefield where he’s left for dead by her clan. She only knows she is inexplicably drawn to him and he wants peace as she does. When her clan learns of her betrayal, they seek vengeance. Dare she trust the enemy more than her own family?
Laird Alasdair MacGrath is driven to end two-hundred years of feuding with the MacIrwins. But by taking in and protecting Lady Gwyneth and her son, he provokes more attacks from his mortal enemy. As the danger and conflict surrounding them escalate, Alasdair and Gwyneth discover an explosive passion neither of them expected. With the arrival of a powerful man from her past, a horrible decision confronts her--give up her son or the man she loves.

Thank you for always sharing your beautiful pictures! These were amazing! Some of the colors on the trees were magnificent! I loved the gardens too! Lovely! Thank you so much!
Thank you for checking it out, Tracey! So glad you liked them!
Oh Vonda, these photos are superb. When we were in Scotland it was October so we also had the joy of seeing the fall colors. Loved all those photos, espcially the one where you can see the rocks in the forground and it looks right up into the peak. Stunning.
I might add that being here in Wisconsin for the first time for fall colors has blown me away. I have never seen such beauty in leaves and trees before.
Hugs!!!!!
How beautiful! I would love to visit Scotland one day. Fall is my favorite season. It appears to be even more beautiful over there based on your pictures.
I loved looking at these pictures. It makes me want to go to Scotland in the fall!!
Thank you, Paisley! Late Sept. or October is a really nice time to go to Scotland. It isn't as crowded. The colors are pretty. I bet Wisconsin is beautiful. Glad you're enjoying it. Hugs!!!

I would just absolutely love to visit there one day! Until I do though, you pictures just make my heart ache. They are truly beautiful.... Thank you so much for sharing them so that even if we haven't been yet, we can have pictures to insert into our imagination while reading your books. :D
I hope you get to visit soon, Elizabeth! It's even more beautiful and majestic in person.
Loved the photos, Vonda! Wish I were there! Especially liked the one with the cattle and the house in the background.
Thanks, Gwyn! I wish I were there too. Right after I took that cattle picture a dog chased me. LOL
Perfectly delightful pictures. Thank you for sharing. No wonder the Highlanders didn't want to give it up!
Hello Vonda.
I'm late in commenting, but I just wanted to say I just loooove those photos. I went to Scotland several times but the fall season is always special; there's a certain quality to the air... Sigh... Until next time, I hope :)
