Sunset over Broadford Bay. Though there are a lot of close seconds!
The view of the sea from Armadale, but like Carly said there are many close seconds!
Eilean Donan Castle is absolutely beautiful! But I'd enjoy any of them. Happy Valentine's Day.
Sunset over Broadford Bay but all of them are beautiful so it was hard to pick just one.
Wonderful quotes too.
I'm partial to blue, so Isle of Skye at sunset. If my garden could see I passed on the flowers, my roses would attack me. LOL
They're all gorgeous!

Gorgeous photos. Thanks for sharing them.
I loved the view of the sea from Armadale with the honeysuckle in the foreground. So touching and beautiful. Imagine being a young woman who found herself mistress there. Your photography is magnificent, Vonda. And congratulations, once more, on My Fierce Highlander! I'm so happy for you.

You're so lucky to be around such beauty, Vonda. Thanks for sharing.
Armadale I think.Hard to choose.
BTW, I love your template. It's the same one I used when I had a Wordpress blog. Wish those days were back again.
Happy Valentines.
Carly, I love that one too. My husband and I had a wonderful romantic stroll around Broadford that day.
Alexa, thanks! I couldn't believe how picturesque Armadale was. Lots of flowers, and part of the ruin was just gorgeous. Plus the views and the walk through the woodland garden.
Linda, Eilean Donan is definitely a favorite of mine too.
Denise, thanks! I really loved the way the purples and blues showed up in that sunset.
LOL Cora, thanks! I know what you mean. Though it's hard to beat flowers for beauty, a lot of times Scotland's picturesque landscapes win.
Roxy, thanks so much! I'm glad you enjoyed them!
Cate, thanks! Armadale was an amazing place with lots of beautiful gardens. I can't wait to share more pictures from there. I also like to imagine what it would've been like to live in certain places long ago.
Thanks about My Fierce Highlander also. I'm glad to have it in print now too.
Clover, thanks! I always feel lucky, blessed, and excited to get to visit Scotland.
Anna, I'm glad you like the Armadale pic and also our template. Thanks!
Sunset over Broadford Bay. All the photos are gorgeous. It was hard to choose!
Vonda, when I was at Armadale years ago it rained. BUT it was still beautiful. Just a bit cold. :)
Wonderful, wonderful, Vonda. You know Eilean Donan will always be my favorite photo. This is my favorite quote: To laugh often and love much... to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to give one's self... this is to have succeeded.
-- Ralph Waldo Emerson
Thanks for a lovely post, my friend.
Carol, thanks so much! I'm glad you like that one.
Alexa, that sounds about right. LOL When we were there, it was very cloudy but it didn't rain, amazingly. It started after we left.
Paisley, thanks! I knew you would like that photo! It is a favorite of mine. I like taking photos of the castle at different times, in different lights, with the tide in or out. The moods can change so dramatically. I'm glad you like that quote also.
You're not serious when you say pick one. They were all wonderful.
They're all gorgeous but the one of tree on the Isle of Skye just seems to call my name. Happy Valentine's Day! :-)
sigh . . .
That was beautiful . . .
as my DH comes in from work with take-out Chinese food.
Favorite pic(s) was the Eileen Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye.
Really liked Johnny Depp's quote and the quote about love is like a wild, brambling rose that causes you to bleed in its defense.
Great post. Hard to pick a favorite, but I have a soft spot for beaches :) Happy Valentine's Day.
Since I can only pick one...Armadale Castle. But they're all gorgeous. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Ella, thanks so much! I'm so glad you like them all!
Maeve, thanks! I am very drawn to mossy trees and mossy rocks. I just LOVE the rich, velvety, bright green look of them.
Thanks, Julie! I'm glad you liked those pics and quotes! I'm a big fan of both meaningful quotes and beautiful photos.
Natasha, thanks! I love that beach! It was great fun to explore it with my DH. Happy Valentine's Day!
Ally, thanks! Armadale had lots of lovely flowers and woodland paths. Also it's position on the coast is gorgeous.
