Here's a wonderful quotation that I think is oftentimes wrong:<br /><br />"O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?<br />Deny thy father and refuse thy name.<br />Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love<br />And I'll no longer be a Capulet."<br /><br />I always see it "wherefore," when I believe it should be "whyfore." In other words, Juliet is really asking "why" does he have to be Romeo and a Montague, not "where" is he because I think he's right there!
