Coming Soon - Bound to Submit

My very first release came out in October of 2007. (Wow! How time flies!) It was a Halloween Quickie titled Nothing to Fear. It was a fun, very short BDSM story and it got some great reviews. But because it was for a special call, it didn't get its own cover and because it was so short, I always felt that the story between the hero and heroine was just getting started.

Recently, I got the rights back to this story. I revised it, doubling the length of the story and delving more into the characters' relationship. I re-titled it Bound to Submit. I had a new cover made and I love it! Lacey Savage does all my indie covers. She's so talented!

Here was the original cover. Very Halloween.

And here is the new cover. Simple, but I think, very evocative.

Here's the blurb:

Mason’s dark good looks and dominating personality stirred up Kelly’s forbidden fantasies, frightening her so much that she broke up with him. When she agrees to help out at the community haunted house, she never expects to be tied to a bed, playing damsel in distress to Mason’s masked, whip-wielding villain.

Mason knows Kelly is fighting her sexual needs and he hopes that a few hours of playing out her fantasies with him will prove it to her. Bound and under his control, she can’t run away from him this time.

October is the perfect month to release Bound to Submit. The story still starts out in the haunted house, but it goes on to be so much more than that. I'm working now on getting it formatted and out to reviewers and vendors as soon as I can. Keep on the look-out for it. If you want to be updated on when it's released, you can join my mailing list.

Excerpt:

Kelly froze in the doorway as a tall masked man, dressed from head to toe in black, stepped away from the bed. A black hood covered his entire head except for holes for his eyes and mouth. The sleeveless black T-shirt clung to his sculpted chest and his muscled arms were tanned. Black pants and shoes completed the intimidating outfit.

Her heart pounded so loudly she couldn’t hear what Lisa was saying. “Dress? Did you say something about a dress?”

Lisa rolled her eyes. “You can change behind that screen in the corner. The dress is on the chair behind it.”

No way was she going to be taking off her clothes in the same room with…who was this masked man? This tall masked man dressed like a…a…

Kelly whipped around to look at Lisa. Wasn’t she supposed to be her friend? “What’s wrong with what I have on?”

“Jeans and sweatshirt don’t project the same damsel in distress image as a dress,” Lisa said, already walking toward the hallway, ignoring Kelly’s pleading look. “Gotta run. You and Mason can work everything else out.” She glanced at her watch. “You’ve got less than half an hour before the first group will be coming through. Be ready.” Then she was out the door, shutting it behind her.

How could Lisa have done this to her? She knew Kelly had broken things off with Mason. Of course, Kelly had never confessed why, but her best friend had to have known it would be awkward for the two of them to be shut up in this room together.

The slam of the door echoed in the silence. Kelly turned around slowly and looked up into the deep, dark eyes staring at her out of the mask. Of course, it was Mason. Hadn’t she known it the moment she stepped into the room? Her hands shook as she clasped them together in front of her.

Oh God, it was Mason.

He slid the mask off his head with one large hand. His eyes were what had first attracted her to him, and they were still like melted dark chocolate. His head was shaved as always, but there was a shadowy hint of hair on his head and an even darker trace along his jaw. The diamond stud in his ear twinkled beneath the light from the chandelier.

He looked so good. There was a part of her that still wanted to throw her arms around him. To feel his arms around her. His lips on her. His hands on her.

But he’d wanted more than she could give him.

In the near future, I'll be reissuing another story with bondage and reunited lovers, titled Bound to Surrender. But more about that later. Of course, you can sign up for my mailing list to make sure you don't miss out on any of my releases.
