Getting In The Spirit thanks to The Piano Guys

Am I the only one who had never heard of The Piano Guys? http://thepianoguys.com/ Music is a big part of my life and these four guys are amazing. I can thank them for finally getting into the Christmas spirit.

When I left the day job to write full time, I thought I would have...you know...lots of time. Time to write and time to keep up the household chores and time to exercise and time to spend with my family and friends. I've done all of that, but it still seems I don't have as much time as I'd like to do them. And now that the holiday season is upon us?? It's only a couple weeks before Christmas and the tree is not up, the house is not decorated and the shopping has only just begun.

I've been busy wrapping up Her Royal Bodyguard. I know that the readers of book #1, Her Royal Masquerade are looking forward to Rico and Angelina's story. I know that January is generally a pretty good month to release a book. So I've been busy writing and revising. Christmas...shopping...decorating...I'll get to it.

But I haven't been in the mood. I've had other things on my mind. And then this video started making the rounds on Facebook and I played it over and over again. I started listening to Christmas stations on Pandora while I wrote. Then I watched The Piano Guys some more. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the video itself here on the blog, but please, if you haven't seen it yet, click on the link! The Piano Guys and their rendition of Angels We Have Heard On High has put me in the Christmas spirit. I'm going to put up the tree today...

After I polish a few chapters of Her Royal Bodyguard...
