Guest: Eliza Knight & The Highlander's Sin

Eliza Knight is the multi-published, award-winning, Amazon best-selling author of sizzling historical romance and erotic romance. While not reading, writing or researching for her latest book, she chases after her three children. In her spare time (if there is such a thing…) she likes daydreaming, wine-tasting, traveling, hiking, staring at the stars, watching movies, shopping and visiting with family and friends. She lives atop a small mountain, and enjoys cold winter nights when she can curl up in front of a roaring fire with her own knight in shining armor.
Q: Welcome, Eliza! Please tell us about your latest release.
A: First off, thanks so much for hosting me today! I’m excited to be here sharing with you my latest release—The Highlander’s Sin! Sin is the 6th book in my Stolen Bride series of Scottish historical romances. The series takes place in the Braveheart era, and is filled with fiercely loyal, hot, Highland heroes, and independent, feisty, sexy heroines. In the latest release, the hero Duncan, has a lot of internal demons he’s battling. He commits a lot of sins as a mercenary, but there is one major sin he committed that has ruled his entire existence. Heather, the heroine, is a sassy, stubborn lass, and just what Duncan needs to move forward in his life. She’ll teach him there is more to life than mourning, and punishing himself, and in return, she gains the love of an amazing man, her perfect match.
Q: I'm reading this story now and I love the intensity of it! What inspired this story?
A: Heather was a young teen in the first book, but already a vibrant, feisty character. I knew that when it came time for her own story—in book 6—that she was going to need an extraordinary hero to match her. I had NO idea who it was going to be. Not until when I was at the end of book 5—The Highlander’s Triumph—and this mystery priest enters the scene. I wanted him to be intimidating, strike fear in people, but on the inside, he has a heart of gold. And then it hit me—WHAM—this guy, this priest, is my hero. Of course, they both argued with me, about it, because neither of them wants love, but when circumstances put them together, neither of them could fight the intense attraction and soul-searching they provided each other.
Q: Wow that's interesting! Please tell us about your favorite character in the book.
A: This is a tough question! But honestly, my favorite is going to be Duncan. I fell in love with him. Wanted to soothe his pain. I definitely imagined I was Heather J
Q: I fell in love with him too! Which element of story creation is your favorite?
A: I think the story creation itself is my favorite—watching it all unfold before my eyes, those AH-HA! moments are such a thrill!
Q: Where is your favorite place in the world?
A: My favorite place in the world is most definitely a mix between Southern Ireland and the Highlands of Scotland. The countryside is gorgeous, lush, mysterious… There is this draw when you stand there, like you could lay down on the ground and never leave.

Q: Would you like to ask readers a question?
A: I would DEFINITELY like to ask the readers a question!! What is your favorite place in the world???
I’d love to give away an e-copy of The Highlander’s Sin to one lucky commenter! (Please remember to leave some version of your email address in your comment or a way for us to contact you. Thanks!)

The Highlander’s Sin
He stole her away… But she set him free…

They called him The Priest. Maybe because of his billowing black robes and the steel crucifix that hung around his neck. Or perhaps it was because those who met him were compelled to pray. But Duncan Mackay was anything but a saint. He was a sinner—a paid mercenary. Until he met her, and she made him want to change his ways.

Lady Heather Sutherland, has never been compelled to follow rules. And this time, she’s gone too far. Following in the footsteps of her brothers and cousins, she chooses to join the fight for Scottish freedom—and gets herself abducted by a handsome, rogue warrior, whose touch is sweet sin.

Duncan’s duty was clear—steal Heather away from Dunrobin Castle. What he didn’t expect, was to be charmed by her spirit and rocked by her fiery kiss. Now, he doesn’t want deliver her to those who hired him, instead he wants to keep her all to himself.

THE HIGHLANDER'S SIN is the sixth book in the Stolen Bride series, but it can stand alone.

Check out the other books in the series!

Eliza, I've already bought The Highlander's Sin (still waiting for it to get to me), so please let someone else have it. But I just had to say my favorite place in the world is the western River Tay region of the Highlands of Scotland (Skye and Aberdeen run a close second and third).
Looking forward to reading The Highlander's Sin.

Hi, Eliza! Nice interview. My favorite place is Paris, my top pick dream destination. Japan is a close second. I was fortunate to travel there, and fell in love with the people and country. The Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto is the most beautiful place I've ever seen.

Thanks for the chance to win The Highlander's Sin.

Great interview! My favorite place in the world, and I'm going to sound very old, is my own home. Especially in the morning, when the dew smells fresh and the dogs are stretching from their night sleep.
