Vampires with Heart!

I've just finished final edits on Legend of the White Wolf coming in Feb, and the vampire romantic suspense, Deadly Liaisons, for the print version coming out in Jan, and have to work Saturday, sooo, ... I'm trying to finish preposts so I can get back to work on Seduction of the Wolf...all short fused deadlines.

I keep hearing how vampires are way over done. But even in this Bible Belt location, I constantly see vampire books being checked out at the library where I work. I'm not sure why the worry about vampires not being popular. They were popular when I was a kid and they'll be popular way after I'm gone. Just think, vampires in space. Yep. :)

When I look at this picture, I think, what's not to like about a vampire???

*sigh*

The other day a patron was asking me about how they come up with the covers for my books. :) The library only has the YA story. When Deadly Liaisons comes out, I'm not sure they'll want the book in the library because of how wild the cover is. LOL. I might have to donate one. :)

So the story is that the model was a werewolf, not a vampire. My vampires are clean shaven, no whiskers. Wolves have whiskers. And my hero was way too old. He needed to be a teen. Scott Carpenter gave me a super cover for The Vampire...In My Dreams. If I ever had the time, I'd love to write the sequel.

But here's the naughtier adult romantic suspense's cover. Scott did a great job on this one too. Very sexy. :) Don't you think?
Yep, nothing wrong with vampires, I say. Don't they need loving too?

Hey, thanks so much, Nicole! I'm at work and it's 106 outside, and we're absolutely overwhelmed inside...only 2 people working! Hope you have a great Saturday! I'll be glad when mine is done!

Very sexy cover! I'm not generally a reader of paranormal, but I sure liked Anne Rice's vampire series back in the day, starting with Interview with a Vampire.
