Natasha Moore gets Bad to the Bone

We are fortunate to have Natasha Moore back with us again this week to talk about her new Secrets novella being released this month.

Nicole: Welcome Natasha! Please tell us about your story.

Natasha: Bad to the Bone is my first Secrets novella, included in Secrets Vol 24, Surrender to Seduction and it was a lot of fun to write. Here’s the blurb:

She’s a good girl who wants to be bad and he’s a bad boy who wants to be good. When they meet up at their high school reunion, Annie Shane wants to shed her good girl reputation by having one wild weekend with Luke Kendall. Luke has had enough playing the field and hopes to convince Annie to settle down. Which leaves Annie wondering…what would a bad girl do?

Nicole: Ooh I love reunion stories! What is your writing process or method?

Natasha: I’m pretty much a pantser –detailed plotting makes my eyes glaze over. I start with my characters and the opening situation…and I try to have the dark moment in mind – it’s what I aim for as I’m writing. How I get there??? That’s the fun part! Or the frustrating part, depending on how the writing is going lol.

Nicole: I know what you mean. What do you wish you’d known before becoming published (or what about being published surprised you)?

Natasha: How much time a writer has to spend on the business part of writing. Being a published author is so much more than just writing the next book. There’s market research and promotion and updating websites and writing blog posts and networking and interviews…lol

Nicole: That part sure takes a lot of time. Do you have any advice for unpublished authors?

Natasha: Keep writing. Keep learning. Don’t give up!

Nicole: What’s next for you?

Natasha: I have another Secrets novella, Up to No Good, coming in December as part of Vol 25. And a novella, Dark Angel, will be coming soon from Red Sage Presents, but I don’t have a release date yet. I have my first futuristic novella, Lia’s Warrior, coming out from Ellora’s Cave in September. And my first Samhain novel, The Ride of Her Life, comes out in print on September 30th.

Nicole: Congratulations on all the upcoming releases! Would you like to ask blog readers a question?

Natasha: Do you find new authors and interesting new books that you’ve bought, through blog posts, yahoo loops, etc.?

Nicole: Thanks, Natasha, for allowing me to interview you again! Everyone, please check out Natasha Moore's website at www.natashamoore.com/

Wonderful interview ladies! And I love Natasha's concept in Bad to the Bone. School reunions are interesting affairs in themselves and to add some excitement like that - woohoo! Definitely added to my TBR list.

Love that cover, Natasha! Can't wait to get my author copies so I can read all the other stories. I might pick up a book based on something I've read on the web. Just seeing a title online and then seeing the book in the book store might do the trick.
