Out of the dialup stone age

I'm thrilled to say I finally have DSL. Woohoo! My dialup was the slooooooowwest on earth and it took forever for me to do anything online, especially research, which I have to do a lot of since I write historical romance. Even posting to this blog took a large amount of time.

I've been working on my latest project, a 2nd Scottish historical. I've also been entering contests.

I saw this quote this morning and thought it was cute... "Many suffer from the incurable disease of writing and it becomes chronic in their sick minds." ~Juvenal (AD 60-130)

Hahaha! Boy, isn't that the truth.

Okay. I guess that means I am now OFFICIALLY the last person on the planet to have dial-up. :)

Congrats.

I'm shocked. I thought you'd be the first to get the highest speed possible. LOL!

Isn't it wonderful? We couldn't get DSL when we lived in Colorado, then that's all they had in Hawaii. It was so wonderful, that we put it on our list of must haves during the last move. How's that for spoiled?

Absolutely! I love it. Gotta have it now. :-) My old dial up only went at a snail's pace, about 14 - 19K. It would be so hard to go back to that.

Hey, you need to post again and I need to quit procrastinating by reading blogs. LOL!

Got the handout you sent in the mail today--thanks.
